So, the heads of our Velveteen RP ring and I have officially released a third Twila variation at approximately 2:45-ish this morning.

New Variation's Name -- Sins
Number of Alts Active -- 2 (Both on Furcadia ~ Sins of the Father; The Father's Sins)
Changes -- Like Bane, her right arm is possessed by the Death Essence, Unhinged. Unlike Bane, Sins' Unhinged attacked her early in their joining and therefore, she has a nice crescent-shaped scar that runs from the right corner of her mouth to the outer corner of her eye. It is a visible scar, showing up a very pastel pink. She is also different from Bane in the sense that at the end of the known history for Bane, Sins' keeps going. She killed her father, finally. Christoph was talking to Christian concerning a way to tell Ivan how Tanya's death really happened (she died in childbirth with the siblings' little sister, for those new to the story), and Ivan overhears. He falls into a paradoxical state of mind that completely warps his beliefs and everything he has tried to uphold. So he goes after Vida now in this new insane state. Christo sees what happened and sends for Miska. Who comes as her father is getting ready to hurt her baby sister. She unleashes Unhinged in that last second ... and Ivan is no more. Because of such a close encounter with Vida being hurt, she has become viciously paranoid and over-protective of her baby sister.

A bit of randomness from a mixture of a strange compiling of land predators and Mai having slept.

First, it started out that my roommate's friend wanted a list of land predators. She said they could be living or extinct. So we chose a list of living predators ... and then chose a list of dead ones.

'Too bad the dodo wasn't a predator. Because the dodo was awesome...'
'Yeah...'
'I know! A Tyrannosaurus! Because those are only the most badass land predators ever, right?'
'Oh yeah.'
'Although, it would suck to see one walking around outside. It'd be like "OH MY GOD, A T-REX!! EVERYONE GET INTO THE HALLWAY!'

Now normally, abnormally ... bizarre conversations like this stop there and stay ended with a few recounts later of the joke. But not this one.

*Ticktaptickatap -- Pause* 'It would suck even more if we had velociraptors running around.'
'Or utahraptors...'
'Yeah, those would suck worse.... I wonder if we're raptor-proof? I mean, unless the knobs on the doors to the stairs on the first floor are like the latch knobs in JP, we should be safe, right?'
'I .... dunno.'
'Because I mean, raptors are smart, but I would assume there are certain doors they can't open.'
'And they can't operate elevators.'
'Unless you lived on the first floor, we'd generally be safe from a raptor attack, right?'
'We should be. But what about the lobby?'

And so, after an extensive search of the first floor stairway doors (and a prompt scaring of both the front desk worker and the security guard on duty at the time), I came back upstairs to determine that yes...

AiC's dorms, The Towers, is safe from a velociraptor attack ... assuming you don't live on the first floor and that the velociraptors are not dropped from a helicopter onto the roof.
